Los Angeles Mum Detained after three toddlers Discovered stabbed to death

Liliana Carrillo, the only defendant, can be accused of carjacking a car before she was finally caught

A Southern California mum was detained for supposedly traumatic to death her little kids -- most of these younger than 4.

The innocent bodies of their kids, ages 3, 2 and 6 weeks, were detected by their grandma when she returned home from work Saturday morning, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Their mom, 30-year-old Liliana Carrillo, was arrested hours later in Tulare County, about 200 miles north of Los Angeles, after sparking a huge hunt.

Carrillo supposedly drove away from the scene in her car but ended up getting in an altercation in which she subsequently abandoned her automobile and carjacked another automobile before she was finally captured, Los Angeles police Lt. Raul Jovel explained.

The LAPD affirmed Carrillo has been"believed the only real suspect in this instance."

The 3 young kids were found brutally stabbed, FOX 11 at Los Angeles reports.

Authorities were working to ascertain a motive.
