A North Ayrshire crash resulted in a man's death.
Joshua Crawford sustained severe injuries in a collision at Lawson Drive in Ardrossan on Tuesday, 19:50.
The 27-year old was taken to Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock, before being transferred to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. He later died.
Police are appealing to witnesses to come forward. The crash involved no other vehicles.
Craig Beaver, Ayrshire Road Policing Sergeant, said that he was thinking of Joshua's family members and friends during this difficult time.
"It is vital that we understand exactly what occurred in the time leading up to the crash. I appeal to anyone with any information to get in touch.
"Likewise, anyone who was there at the time should get in touch if they have any dash-cam footage."
