Mecklenburg-West Pomerania: Baltic Sea Day Rostock: Research institutes present themselves

Rostock (dpa/mv) - The leading Baltic Sea research institutes in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania will present themselves on Wednesday (10 a.m.) at the Baltic Sea Day in Rostock's city harbour. For the fourth time, visitors can exchange new findings in Baltic Sea research with scientists from the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde, the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency in Rostock, the German Maritime Museum in Stralsund and the Thünen Institute for Baltic Sea Fisheries. One of the focal points will be dealing with the consequences of climate change on the Baltic Sea ecosystem. The research ship "Elisabeth Mann Borgese" is also located at the edge of the quay and is open to visitors.
