Wismar (dpa / mv) - After the protests against the planned refugee accommodation in the 500-inhabitant town of Upahl, a town hall meeting in Grevesmühlen is scheduled for Friday. The situation will be explained at the event from 6 p.m. in the sports hall of the Gymnasium am Tannenberg. District Administrator Tino Schomann (CDU) and representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the local transport company Nahbus, the police and the Red Cross have already been announced.

The district had announced a shuttle service for the citizens of Upahl. The local transport company Nahbus will set up a bus shuttle between the Upahl fire brigade and the event location in Grevesmühlen. Buses are scheduled to depart at 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
