Schwerin (dpa/mv) - On Wednesday, International Women's Day, women have free entry to the castle museums in Schwerin and Ludwigslust and to the Granitz hunting lodge on the island of Rügen. This was announced by the State Castles, Gardens and Art Collections of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (SSGK) on Monday. March 8th is a public holiday in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the first time this year. The Schwerin Castle Museum and Ludwigslust Castle are said to be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Granitz hunting lodge is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
