Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: 18 more fire engines handed over to the fire brigade

Malchow (dpa/mv) - State Secretary Wolfgang Schmülling handed over 18 fire engines to the state's fire departments on Saturday. They went to fire departments in all six counties, according to the Interior Ministry. A total of 119 vehicles of the type TSF-W (portable fire-fighting vehicle-water) were then delivered - of 265 that the country is handing over as part of the 50 million "Sustainable Fire Brigade" program. The rest would be manufactured by 2023 and then delivered. Schmülling handed over the vehicles on behalf of Interior Minister Christian level (SPD).
