Rostock (dpa/mv) - With six correct numbers in the lottery, a player from the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim won 3.5 million euros at the weekend. In the Saturday draw 6 out of 49, the lucky winner received exactly 3,536,411.70 euros, as the management company Lotto und Toto Mecklenburg-Vorpommern announced on Monday.
The winning numbers were therefore 7, 8, 9, 20, 37, 45 and were only typed correctly once. The chance of getting six correct numbers is around 1 in 15.6 million. The probability of winning six correct numbers plus a super number is around 1 in 139.9 million.
The winner anonymously handed in the ticket with a total of six picks at an acceptance point, as a spokeswoman for the lottery company explained. Now she or he has to go to a receiving office again with the lottery ticket so that the money can be transferred.
It was the first lottery millionaire in MV this year and the highest lottery win since November 2021. At that time, thanks to six correct numbers plus a super number in Lotto 6 out of 49, around 5.3 million euros also went to the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, as it was called. MV now has a total of 55 lottery millionaires.
