Rostock (dpa / mv) - After the death of a 75-year-old man in the Rostock district of Lichtenhagen, the public prosecutor ordered an autopsy. As the police headquarters in the Hanseatic city announced on Wednesday, the man's wife had alerted the police. Police officers provided first aid in the apartment. After the condition deteriorated, the arrived emergency services had to resuscitate the man. However, these measures were reportedly unsuccessful.

The criminal police are investigating. According to the police, it is not yet possible to say whether the autopsy will provide any indications for criminal follow-up investigations. At first there was no further information.
