Schwerin (dpa/mv) - The coaches of the Bundesliga volleyball players at SSC Palmberg Schwerin drew a positive conclusion after the week-long training camp in Zingst. "In terms of volleyball, we had planned to consolidate the basic elements under difficult conditions, which represent sand, sun and wind optimally," explained assistant coach Paul Sens the many sessions on the beach. He also emphasized: "The training camp was a successful week. The focus was on getting to know and doing the basics."
The preparations have been going on for two weeks, but coach Felix Koslowski has only now scheduled the first sessions in the hall. So far, the main focus has been on strength and athletic training. The coach responsible for this, Michael Döring, praised the players: "Everyone did their homework so far during the summer break that there were no failures after the first training sessions."
