Hohen Neuendorf/Wismar (dpa/mv) - In the coming week, the Autobahn 14 near Schwerin will have to be closed for 5.5 kilometers due to construction work. To dismantle the steel protective wall, a complete closure in the direction of Wismar was necessary between Wednesday 8:30 a.m. and Thursday 5:00 p.m., the federal Autobahn GmbH announced on Friday in Hohen Neundorf.
The closure of the motorway between the motorway junction and the Schwerin-Ost junction is necessary, as the roadway would otherwise be too narrow for the work due to the lack of hard shoulders. According to the information, a detour will be signposted from the A24 junction at Wöbbelin via the L072 and the B321.
