Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: After a stop because of refugees, siren tests again

Wismar (dpa/mv) - The siren tests, which were suspended with regard to refugees, are to take place again in Northwest Mecklenburg. The district announced on Thursday that the first test alarm could take place on July 6 at noon. The test alarms were suspended in March in order to avoid stressing war-traumatized people from Ukraine through sudden alarm signals. In the meantime, only a few refugees are coming.
