Parchim (dpa/mv) - Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania's Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD) is giving her annual reception in Parchim today. Around 300 guests from politics and business, associations and unions, culture, volunteer work and sport have been invited. The head of government wants to award this year's Order of Merit of the country at the reception. The managing director of the state refugee council, Ulrike Seemann-Katz, the state chair of the German Child Protection Association, Angelika Stiemer, and the chair of the Jewish community, Valeriy Bunimov, were honored.
