Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: boat accident on Dobbertiner See: man fatally injured

Dobbertin (dpa / mv) - A 60-year-old man capsized and died in a rowing boat on Lake Dobbertin (Ludwigslust-Parchim district). On Sunday morning, emergency services with several vehicles and boats were on site because a capsized boat and a floating life jacket were sighted, the police said. The 60-year-old man was found lifeless under the boat during the salvage. Despite attempts at resuscitation, he died on the spot. The cause of the boat accident was initially unknown.
