Stralsund (dpa/mv) - In accidents in Stralsund and Ribnitz-Damgarten (West Pomerania-Rügen), two cyclists, including a child, were hit by vehicles and seriously injured on Tuesday. As a police spokesman said on Tuesday, an eleven-year-old was hit by a bus in Ribnitz-Damgarten in the morning. The boy probably wanted to cross a street and fell after the collision.

Almost at the same time, a driver and an 18-year-old cyclist collided at a roundabout in Stralsund. The driver must have overlooked the woman, the police said.
