Völschow (dpa / mv) - Fuel thieves struck at a construction site near Völschow (West Pomerania-Greifswald) for the second time within a week. As five days earlier, the unknown perpetrators tapped around 400 liters from the construction vehicles there on Monday night, the police said. To do this, they would have opened the tank cap as in the first act. The damage again amounts to around 800 euros.

At the beginning of June, thieves stole more than 1,600 liters of diesel from construction sites in the Neustrelitz region (Mecklenburg Lake District). Since the sharp increase in fuel prices in March, there have been repeated major diesel and fuel thefts.
