As a spokeswoman for the Rostock public prosecutor said on Wednesday, the competent district court issued an arrest warrant against the 46-year-old man from the region. According to the police, the man attacked a bank branch in Rerik on Tuesday - but didn't get far. The perpetrator had threatened an employee, demanded money and fled with little booty. Due to the precise description of the perpetrator - he had not worn a mask - and the use of a helicopter, the man was caught after a short escape by bicycle. The knife was also found, it said. Nobody got hurt.
