Schwerin (dpa/mv) - After a dead woman was found in the Großer Dreesch prefab district of Schwerin, the woman's partner is under strong suspicion. As the public prosecutor announced on Monday, the district court issued an arrest warrant against the 44-year-old, who was then taken into custody. There is a suspicion of manslaughter.
The investigations so far have suggested that the man injured his partner so badly with a knife after an argument in the shared apartment that she died in the apartment on Sunday evening. According to the prosecutor, neighbors in the apartment building heard the heated argument and alerted the police. For the woman, however, any help came too late.
