Schwerin (dpa / mv) - An 18-year-old woman in Schwerin set a bad example for children - and was injured by a tram. As a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday, the young woman got off a bus not far from the train station on Monday. With headphones in her ears and busy with her cell phone, she walked across the street behind the bus, not paying attention to the traffic. The tram driver drove slowly there, but despite braking, hit the woman head-on and injured her head. The 18-year-old from the Northwest Mecklenburg district was hospitalized, but is said not to have been seriously injured. 0.44 per mil breath alcohol was measured in her. Other passengers were not injured.
