Laage (dpa / mv) - Unknowns blew open the front door of an apartment building in Laage, where the police station is also based. According to the police, the crime is said to have happened on Monday night. State security took over the investigation.

A resident of one of the five apartments in the Rostock district heard a loud bang during the night. The door and the mailboxes built into it were smashed and parts of it were blown away. The damage was given as at least 5000 euros. The police are investigating the cause of an explosive device explosion. After initial investigations, it is suspected that pyrotechnics exploded at the front door. Nobody got hurt. The motive is still unclear. Investigators are hoping for witnesses.
