Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Drunk driver causes accident when overtaking

Pasewalk (dpa / mv) - A drunk driver caused an accident near Pasewalk (West Pomerania-Greifswald). As a police spokesman said on Monday, the 61-year-old overtook another car on Sunday on federal highway 104 in the direction of the Autobahn. The 61-year-old cut back in too early with the vehicle, so that the cars collided sideways and stopped badly damaged. The alarmed police had the man blow into a breath alcohol meter that showed more than two per thousand. He had to hand in his driver's license and have the car picked up. He is being investigated for endangering road traffic. Nobody got hurt.
