Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Energy supply: State government deals with questions

Schwerin (dpa/mv) - Securing a stable and affordable energy supply is the dominant topic of the cabinet meeting this Tuesday (11 a.m.) in Schwerin. According to Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD), the President of the Federal Network Agency, Klaus Müller, will also take part in the regular consultation with the state government. He will be connected via video. A reliable supply of households and the economy with affordable energy has top priority for the federal and state governments, Schwesig emphasized on Monday in Schwerin at the start of her Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania tour. This topic will therefore also be the focus of their five-day tour.

In the previous week, the head of government had already announced a state energy summit for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for August 22nd. The government is inviting representatives from municipalities, business, trade unions and energy companies to do this.
