Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Five injured when two cars collide on the B96

Bergen auf Rügen (dpa / mv) - In an accident on the B96 between Bergen and Ralswiek (Vorpommern-Rügen district), five people were injured - three of them seriously. A 58-year-old driver had overlooked the vehicle of an 18-year-old coming from the left on Friday evening when turning right, the police said late Saturday evening. The two cars then crashed into each other. The three seriously injured occupants were taken to the hospital and the two slightly injured were treated on site.
