Schwerin/Ferdinandshof (dpa/mv) - In 2022, the Heimatverband MV will once again award honorary prizes to particularly committed citizens and clubs. Proposals should be received by the association by September 23, a spokeswoman said on Monday. The non-endowed awards are given in the categories youth, clubs and twice to individuals. This is intended to give special recognition to the commitment of people to the home and tradition care in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Criteria such as sustainability and multiplication effects are also important.
The honorary awards are to be presented at the annual general meeting on October 8th. The honor has existed since 2016. The Heimatverband is the umbrella organization for numerous cultural and Heimatvereins in the northeast and has offices in Schwerin and Ferdinandshof (Vorpommern-Greifswald).
