The intensive care register of the German Interdisciplinary Association currently shows only one free of a total of 51 intensive care beds for the hospital in the state capital. There are currently 100 free ICU beds available throughout the state, with a rate of 17.1 percent only Schleswig-Holstein has a proportionally higher free capacity in a state comparison.
According to the Hospital Society Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (KGMV), the special situation in Schwerin is not that easy to generalize.
