Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: More train cancellations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

Schwerin (dpa/mv) - Train travelers will have to continue to be prepared for train cancellations on several local transport routes in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the coming week. According to its own statements, Deutsche Bahn is canceling eight connections a day on the RB 17 Wismar-Ludwigslust route from Monday to Friday. So far there have been eleven. The reason given is still an increased sick leave.

According to Deutsche Bahn, there are seven trains a day on the RE7 Stralsund-Greifswald route Monday to Friday. On the RE4 Pasewalk-Ueckermünde Stadthafen, six trains a day will be canceled until September 18th due to illness, it was said. They would be replaced by buses. From September 19 there will be further changes due to construction on this route. Then the trains should run every two hours, some compressor trains would be deleted.

The passengers of the RE5 Stralsund-Neustrelitz can breathe a sigh of relief. Trains are scheduled to run there again from Monday.
