Neubrandenburg (dpa/mv) - When her car collided with an oncoming truck, a young mother died near Neubrandenburg on Monday. Her two-month-old baby suffered life-threatening head injuries, police said. Her other child, three years old, suffered minor injuries. According to the information, the 33-year-old had run into oncoming traffic on the federal highway 104 between Neubrandenburg and Weitin in the morning for reasons that have not yet been clarified and collided head-on with the truck. The 35-year-old truck driver was reportedly unharmed.
