Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Motorcades against high energy prices in several cities

Neubrandenburg (dpa/mv) - With car parades in several cities in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, people protested against the current energy and climate policy on Thursday. More than 150 drivers took part in Neubrandenburg, the police said. There were also actions in other cities such as Waren, Parchim, Güstrow and Schwerin. In Rostock, the organizers canceled a planned motorcade at short notice due to a lack of participation. The "Entrepreneur Rebellion" initiative called for motorcades in a total of 18 cities in East Germany and Bremerhaven.
