Hagenow (dpa/mv) - The police in Hagenow (Ludwigslust-Parchim district) are investigating in connection with a violent neighborhood dispute with two injured people on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. As a police spokesman said on Monday, the dispute about "disturbing noise" got out of hand on Friday evening. First, a 39-year-old man complained to his neighbor about the volume at a party. The 60-year-old neighbor responded after a long back and forth with a shot from an airgun. The projectile hit the 39-year-old in the chest, where he suffered a hematoma.
He then took a baseball bat and hit the opponent. Both men were drunk and injured, but are said to have left each other in the end. The airsoft gun and the bat were secured. No information was initially given on the degree of alcoholization. The 39-year-old had alerted the police because of the noise. Both men are being investigated.
