Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Parachutists determine their champions

Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The German championships in skydiving will experience one of their highlights on Friday (9.30 a.m.) in Schwerin. In the target jump, the athletes head for the "Floating Meadow" in front of Schwerin Castle in the morning. According to the German Skydiving Association, around 270 participants had registered for the competitions, which will end on Saturday. They come from 30 clubs all over Germany. Since these are open championships, guests from Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Sweden and Poland also came, it said. The organizer of the one-week competition is the Fallschirmsportclub Mecklenburg. The starts take place from the airfield in Neustadt-Glewe, south-east of Schwerin.
