Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The state parliament in Schwerin decides on Friday (9:00 a.m.) its three-day deliberations. At the beginning of the last plenary session in September, Parliament wants to deal with the racist riots in 1992 in Rostock-Lichtenhagen. 30 years ago, to the applause of thousands of onlookers, local residents and neo-Nazis attacked the central reception center for asylum seekers and a hostel for Vietnamese workers and partly set them on fire. At the end of August, numerous events were held in Rostock to commemorate the riots.
There are numerous other topics on the agenda of the state parliament. These include the high gas prices, childcare in daycare centers and the demand for the continuation of the 9-euro ticket.
