Tribsees (dpa/mv) - Two people were seriously injured in a car accident after a right-of-way error in Tribsees (West Pomerania-Rügen). As a police spokesman said on Wednesday, three vehicles were involved in the accident in the morning. According to initial investigations, a 59-year-old driver ignored the right of way of a car on highway 192 at an intersection. Both vehicles collided. One of the vehicles was thrown against another car that was waiting behind it.
The 59-year-old and the driver of the second car that had the right of way were taken to a clinic with serious injuries. Their cars were total losses. The three occupants of the third damaged vehicle were not injured.
