The Friedrich Lisch Monument Award recognizes special achievements in the preservation of monuments and is endowed with 4000 euros. Martin also paid tribute to the work of young people in the working group. According to the information, it has existed since 1983 and takes care of the recording and maintenance of the archaeological monuments in the area of ​​the current district of Rostock and the Hanseatic city of Rostock.

In addition, the "Denk mal! Prize for children and young people" award was given to pupils in grades 8 and 9 and the teachers of a working group at the large city school Geschwister Scholl in Wismar. The prize is endowed with 700 euros.

According to the German Foundation for Monument Protection (DSD), more than 170 monuments had registered for the Open Monument Day on Sunday in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
