Brussels (dpa/mv) - Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania's Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig and Europe Minister Bettina Martin (both SPD) are expected to hold talks with the EU Commission in Brussels this Tuesday. During the two-day visit, meetings with Commission President Ursula von der Leyen (CDU) and her deputy Frans Timmermans are planned. Topics are the energy crisis, the expansion of cooperation in the Baltic Sea region across national borders and the distribution of EU financial aid in the next funding period after 2027.
