Stralsund (dpa / mv) - The crew of the sea rescue boat "Hertha Jeep" has rescued a sailor from acute distress. As the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked Persons (DGzRS) announced on Thursday, the six-meter-long dinghy with three people on board capsized about 500 meters from the beach on Wednesday. At that time, the "Hertha Jeep" was on a training trip with four sea rescuers and reached the scene of the accident in half an hour. At this point, two sailors had already arrived safely on shore, the third man was still clinging to the dinghy. The sea rescuers pulled the man, who was only wearing his bathing suit, on board and provided him with warm blankets. The dinghy sank.
