Schwerin (dpa/mv) - Coach Felix Koslowski started the preparations of SSC Palmberg Schwerin for the volleyball Bundesliga with a small squad. The coach was only able to welcome seven players at the start of the week. Anna Pogany, Lina Alsmeier, Pia Kästner (all Germany), Indy Baijens (Netherlands) and Jazmine White (Canada) will join the team later due to the upcoming World Cup in Poland and the Netherlands.
For the first time in a long while, Koslowski can lead work with the team from day one after resigning as DVV national coach. "Due to the long preparation for the World Cup, we can take enough time to get to know each other, individual discussions, outdoor activities, balance training, coordination, athletics and strength training," he said. He announced that he would not go into the hall for the next two weeks. The scoring round begins on October 29th.
