Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: State Youth Council: Too little money for youth participation

Schwerin (dpa/mv) - After the MV double budget was passed in the state parliament, the state youth council criticized insufficient funding for child and youth participation in the north-east. The money now planned allows, for example, only four full-time participation moderators in the north-east - but one person per district and independent city is needed, i.e. eight, explained the managing director of the state youth council, Ina Bösefeldt, on Friday.

In the coalition agreement and in the public relations work of Rot-Rot, children and young people are a strong focus, but unfortunately this is not reflected in the budget. The participation of children and young people is apparently not really taken seriously by the parliamentary groups.
