Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Storm pushes trailers: A20 blocked for two hours

Tribsees (dpa/mv) - A trailer blown over by gusts of wind caused the Autobahn 20 near Tribsees (West Pomerania-Rügen) in the direction of Rostock to be blocked for two hours. A police spokesman said on Tuesday that the two-axle trailer, which was attached to a pickup truck, was pushed over during a storm on Monday and rolled over. The vehicle came to rest across both lanes in the direction of Rostock. The rescue took around two hours. The 61-year-old driver of the pickup truck was unharmed. Between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, a storm front with strong gusts of wind passed Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
