Born (dpa / mv) - During a thunderstorm on Sunday in Born on the Darß, a thatched house burned down. According to the police, no one was injured. However, the fire brigade had to let the house burn down in a controlled manner, as a spokeswoman said. The two police headquarters in Rostock and Neubrandenburg did not report any further storm damage. The German Weather Service had issued numerous severe weather warnings for the northeast over the course of Sunday.
