Neustrelitz (dpa / mv) - The busy B96 was closed for a long time on Sunday afternoon after an accident between Weisdin and Usadel (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district). According to the police, a 24-year-old drove his car to the left into the guardrail and was thrown back onto the road from there. According to the driver, his car left the roadway due to a diesel track.
According to the police, a special company was commissioned to remove the approximately two-kilometer diesel track. Therefore, the affected route east of Neustrelitz is expected to remain completely closed until late at night. No one was injured in the accident. The police estimated the total damage at around 100,000 euros.
