Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: The sports court negotiates Rostock's appeal against a fine

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/mv) - Hansa Rostock's appeal against a high fine for unsportsmanlike behavior by fans will be heard orally before the DFB sports court on August 19 (1 p.m.). This was announced by the German Football Association on Tuesday. The sports court had imposed two fines totaling 137,925 euros on the second division football team for seven cases of improper behavior by its supporters. The club could use up to 45,900 euros for security, infrastructure or violence prevention measures, the statement said.
