Schwerin (dpa/mv) - The second half of the week brings rain and thunderstorms to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), thunderstorms and showers can be expected every day from Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday there is even a risk of thunderstorms due to heavy rain and gusts of wind on the islands. Short heavy rain and gusty winds are also expected on Wednesday, sometimes accompanied by small-grain hail.
Only in Western Pomerania does the sun still shine on Wednesday. Otherwise the sky will remain cloudy. While the wind will still be moderate until Thursday and sometimes strong on the Baltic Sea coast, it will weaken considerably on Friday and Saturday. The temperatures are between 17 and 24 degrees.
