Tribsees (dpa / mv) - Autobahn 20 has to be closed again on Tuesday and a good week later on June 9th. The reason: work in the area of the large construction site near Tribsees (Vorpommern-Rügen district). According to Autobahn GmbH, the closure applies in both directions from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A crane had to be set up on the Lübeck lane. Because of the closure, the residents of Langsdorf and Böhlendorf will have to endure noise on the detour route.
In October 2017, the A20 between the Bad Sülze and Tribsees junctions initially sagged to around 40 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width. Over time, however, the hole widened to over 90 meters. A report by the Technical University of Berlin recently cited the breakage of several rows of columns that were supposed to stabilize the subsoil as the reason. But high stress and the lowering of the groundwater also contributed to the subsidence of the roadway.
