Neubrandenburg (dpa / mv) - A freight forwarder in the Mecklenburg Lake District is said to have sent a truck driver on trips without the necessary driver's license since July. A police spokeswoman said on Monday. The 28-year-old truck driver was stopped a few days ago during a check in Sietow. The examination of the tachograph showed that he had driven for the trucking company on at least 60 days since July without having the required qualifications. The truck had to stop.
The police are investigating against the operator of the forwarding agency. According to the police, the entrepreneur faces a fine of 20,000 euros for allowing driving without a license and the driver a fine of around 5,000 euros.
