Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Two injured after a rear-end collision in Ribnitz-Damgarten

Ribnitz-Damgarten (dpa/mv) - Two women were injured in a rear-end collision in the Vorpommern-Rügen district. A 70-year-old man crashed his car on the federal highway 105 in Ribnitz-Damgarten on Saturday into a car in front of him that wanted to turn. As passengers in the front car of a 62-year-old man, an 84-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and a 68-year-old woman suffered serious injuries, the police said. The two drivers were uninjured. The main road was closed for several hours during the rescue and recovery work.
