Neubrandenburg (dpa/mv) - The comedy "Waiting for a Bus" premiered in the Neubrandenburg theater this Friday. The play, directed by Katrin Hentschel, goes back to the TV series by Oliver Bukowski on Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg, as a spokeswoman for Theater und Orchester GmbH Neubrandenburg/Neustrelitz said on Tuesday. In it, two unemployed men sitting at a lonely bus stop in Brandenburg try to explain society to themselves. E play the past, when you drove to work with a lunch box and bus, and the present as a bus stop meeting point, as well as the future of society and the main characters.

The five-person play is the first acting premiere in Neubrandenburg in the new season. Bukowski is 60 years old, works among other things as a radio play author and dramatist, comes from Cottbus and has received several awards for his work. With around 200 employees, including the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic, the TOG is one of four large stages in the northeast.
