Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Wild accident with a motorcycle: Two people seriously injured

Ueckermünde (dpa / mv) - A 73-year-old motorcyclist and his 66-year-old passenger were seriously injured in a wildlife accident in Ueckermünde (Vorpommern-Greifswald district). A deer suddenly jumped onto the street in front of the motorcycle on Thursday, the police said. The driver was taken to a Greifswald hospital with a rescue helicopter. The passenger came to a clinic in Ueckermünde by ambulance. The animal died at the scene of the accident. The motorcycle was a total loss of around 15,000 euros.
