Pasewalk (dpa / mv) - A drunk 41-year-old caused a traffic accident on the L282 west of Pasewalk. Nobody was injured in the accident between Strasburg (Vorpommern-Greifswald district) and Schönhausen (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district) on Friday evening, the police said. The driver drove the car off the roadway due to her intoxication and stopped in the ditch. She then informed a towing company. The employee of the towing service noticed a smell of alcohol in the 41-year-old and informed the police. A breath test revealed the information after 2.29 per mille. The woman has to answer for driving under the influence of alcohol, the police withheld her driver's license.
The woman's almost two-year-old son was also in the car while driving under the influence of alcohol. The youth welfare office was informed of the incident and the boy was placed in the care of his uncle.
