Parchim (dpa/mv) - A driver hit a pedestrian in Parchim and seriously injured her. As a police spokesman said on Monday, the accident happened on Sunday evening at a traffic light crossing on federal highway 191. The 65-year-old turned left with the car and hit the 15-year-old. In the collision, the teenager who was just crossing the road was injured so badly that she was flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter. The driver was not injured. The exact cause of the accident was still unclear.
