Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: "Youth in the state parliament" again after a two-year break

Schwerin (dpa/mv) - After a two-year break due to corona, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Youth Council is again inviting young people to give their opinion to the members of the state parliament. Young people between the ages of 14 and 25 could register for the "Youth in the State Parliament" event from October 25th to 28th, as the youth umbrella organization announced on Wednesday. Registration closes on October 11th.

The participants should bring their topics with them, develop proposals for a youth-friendly MV together and discuss their ideas and demands with members of the state parliament, it said. There is also a varied supporting program.

According to the information, the event is planned and organized by the state youth council and interested young people in cooperation with the state parliament. "Youth in the state parliament" is not a promotional event for political parties, but a participatory project, emphasized the organizers.
