A woman aged 30 who was working for the Departmental Council in road service was struck by a car while she was walking along the RD524 (avenue de la Combe), in Gieres on Wednesday 6 July, just before 11:11 a.m.

After suffering cardiopulmonary arrest, the emergency services arrived and she was able be revived by firefighters and a Samu 38 team before being taken to the CHU Grenoble Alpes in a condition of absolute emergency.

The police performed the standard findings on the spot to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
